Kyle's basketball season ended Saturday with an overtime win and the league's "Sportsmanship Award". The Jaguars practiced and played hard all season but struggled with rather short and several inexperienced players. Kyle gave 100% all season and made most of the points in each game. After a season of football where Kyle was on a team that won the Superbowl but barely let him play, a basketball team that lost most of the games but allowed all the players to participate, regardless of skill or experience, was refreshing. Kyle did a great job of encouraging the players who weren't as talented and needed a little extra help and really worked hard himself on becoming a better player. Tripp and I were really proud of him. But the end of basketball doesn't mean a break from sports. Spring soccer started and we spent last week driving Kyle to both basketball and soccer practices all week. With 10 year old boys, the fun never ends.
The fro got a trim this weekend. Abbie did a great job of sitting still while Stephanie evened-out her curly mop. It is a little short now but at least as it begins to grow again, it will be at the same length...not with crazy long and short strands all mixed in. A friend recently described her fro as "dainty" and I thought it was a sweet way to describe her disco hairdo.

Also, please email me Kyle's soccer schedule. Nate is at a perfect age to sit outside on a blanket and watch his cousin play.
Cute Hair cuts, Garrett is in need of a second one also and I am extremely jealous of Abbie's Curly fro, I have always wished for curly hair.
Sounds like Kyle is one active little boy that likes to try everything out. Keeps parents busy. Daisy is growing so fast and Abbie looks so cute sitting on that chair getting her haircut.
